A few months ago I was invited to check out the new office of Nottingham-based company Impression.
Rapid growth had led the company to invest in the new office which is three times the size of its previous one, paving the way for the future expansion of its team.
The multi award-winning digital marketing agency took on its first employee in 2014 and has since grown to a team of more than 30, which resulted in the need to move out of its previous office in Stoney Street.

The company is now based in an even more central location at Fothergill House, King Street, close to the market square and numerous restaurants. The office which is 8,000 sq ft is three times bigger than its previous home. A meeting area, complete with kitchen was the venue for event which saw specially invited guests treated to canapes and serve yourself drinks!!

Impression has signed up for an initial five year lease on the office which looks out over some great old buildings in Nottingham, in a deal brokered by commercial estate agent FHP, and share the space with another high-growth Nottingham business, Distinct Recruitment, for the first three years. They also shared the party which gave local businesses the opportunity to network and enjoy an evening of socialising.

The new office also has a reception area, a board room which overlooks Nottingham Council House, three smaller meeting rooms and a space dedicated to staff training.
Last week the agency, which was founded in 2012 by Tom Craig and Aaron Dicks, was given the title Best Large SEO Agency in Europe at an awards ceremony held in Prague, fending off stiff competition from some of the continent’s biggest and best known brands.
Impression specialises in digital marketing and web development services, working with clients across the UK and beyond. In 2017, they were named Europe’s Best Small PPC agency in recognition of their paid advertising team.
More recently, Impression was announced as a finalist in two categories of the UK Digital Experience Awards. They were up for five awards in total at the European Search Awards, including Young Search Professional of the Year for University of Nottingham graduate Lauren Capon.
Judges for the awards noted that Impression was dedicated not only to its clients, but to its team. The agency invests heavily in the working environment, employee perks and regular training. Their close work with local authorities and organisations including the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, Loughborough University, Nottingham City Council, Marketing NG and the Big House Project has enabled them to build a reputation as a leader in the digital industry in Nottingham.
