Fashion & Home: Spring time keeping

he clocks went forward on Sunday morning and for a couple of days it felt like Spring!

Sadly we're back to the dull drizzly days and I don't know about you but I know two things, firstly it seems to have been a long Winter, secondly I really missed that lost hour!

As the weather is failing to brighten up our lives at the moment, with clocks having gone forward, the best thing we can do to bring a bit of sparkle to our day, is to buy a fabulous clock.

Here are my budget, blow it and compromise choices:

The wrist watch

A chunky strap watch worn loosely is set to stay in style this season

Clocks

The snooze button on my mobile has to be one of my worst enemies.  Regardless of how many articles I read about the benefits of not hitting snooze, no amount of time spent dozing is as luxurious and comfy as those extra naughty minutes. Here are my choices of quirky time pieces.

Primark nails it again in the budget home style department.  This oversized clock retails at just £8. Whilst it might look like an alarm clock it isn't, so this fashionable piece has no intention of interrupting those z's.  If you must have one that works, Wilko do a standard size version for £6

I'm going to leave you with one guilty pleasure clock on my wish list.  Imagine waking up in the morning with a steaming hot cuppa by your side, well, in the absence of someone bringing me a cuppa in the morning or indeed a butler, a Teasmade is fast becoming a very real want.

📷

Forget the old fashioned idea of the Teasmade. Android Teasmade, as the name suggests, will exploit the Android system that has been creating ripples in the tech industry. Controlled by your Android phone you can pick your favourite music or radio station. The top of Android Teasmade has a recess that is used to store mobile phones. This recess will charge the phone when placed on it.
