March Bucket List




As we enter the month of March, spring is just around the corner. It’s time to shake off the winter blues and start embracing the new season.


What better way to do that than by creating a March bucket list filled with fun and exciting activities to enjoy the changing of the seasons. From spring cleaning to planning your garden, here are 15 activities to add to your March bucket list.


  1. Spring Cleaning: Kick off the month by giving your home a thorough spring clean. Declutter, organise, and deep clean your space to welcome in the new season feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

  2. Garden Planning: Start planning your garden for the upcoming season. Whether you have a green thumb or are just starting out, now is the perfect time to start researching what plants, flowers, and vegetables you want to grow this year. My summerhouse/shed project is still ongoing from last year, so I'm keen to get started again.

  3. Visit a Farm Shop: Support local farmers and producers by visiting a farm shop in your area. Pick up fresh produce, local honey, and other goodies to enjoy at home.

  4. Go for a Walk in the Park: Take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather by going for a leisurely walk in the park. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as spring starts to bloom.

  5. Eat a Meal Outside: Pack a picnic or grab a table at a restaurant with outdoor seating and enjoy a meal al fresco. Soak up the sun (hopefully) and fresh air while dining outside.

  6. Celebrate the Spring Equinox: Welcome in the official start of spring by celebrating the Spring Equinox on March 20th. Consider hosting a small gathering with friends or simply take a moment to appreciate the changing of the seasons.

  7. Plan a Coffee Date with a Friend: Catch up with a friend over a cup of coffee at your favorite local cafe. It’s a great way to stay connected and enjoy some quality time together.

  8. Drink a Guinness: Embrace the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day by enjoying a pint of Guinness. Whether you’re Irish or not, it’s a fun way to celebrate the holiday and toast to good health.

  9. Meditate Outdoors: Find a quiet spot outdoors, whether it’s in your backyard or a local park, and take some time to meditate and connect with nature. Let go of stress and embrace a sense of calm and relaxation.

  10. Clean Out the Kitchen Cupboards: Take some time to declutter and organise your kitchen cupboards. Get rid of expired items and reorganise your space for a fresh start.

  11. Buy Yourself a Bunch of Flowers: Treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet of flowers to brighten up your home and bring a touch of spring indoors.

  12. Read Outdoors at a Cafe: Grab a book, find a cozy spot at a cafe with outdoor seating, and enjoy some quality reading time in the fresh air.
