At the start of every year, we’re encouraged to reinvent ourselves overnight. This year, I’m doing something different.

Instead of vague resolutions or pressure-filled promises that last about as long as a New Year’s hangover, I’m building a year with intention - one grounded in health, self-trust, financial independence, and steady momentum. The best way to do this is by breaking it down quarter by quarter.

This is the exact approach I use myself, and it’s why I created A Year With Intention, ** a guided workbook for planning the year ahead calmly, clearly, and without pressure

Read on for my goals for 2026

And remember, if at first you don’t succeed, redefine success! Cheers to a year of personal growth!

My Core Priorities This Year

1. Health

This year, my body comes first. Yes, even before my Netflix account!

That means:

  • Losing weight sustainably

  • Toning up and rebuilding strength

  • Getting back on track with healthy eating - goodbye, midnight snacks; hello forgotten salad in the fridge!

  • Treating my body as an asset, not an afterthought

Health isn’t a side project anymore - it's the foundation everything else depends on, especially as I get older.

2. Self-Love

Not the fluffy kind - the practical kind.

For me, self-love looks like:

  • Keeping promises to myself

  • Protecting my energy

  • Not seeking approval or validation from others

  • Choosing what supports me, even when it’s uncomfortable

This year is about trusting myself - and acting like it.

3. Money

I’m done thinking small.

My goal this year is limitless income, built through creativity, consistency, and courage.

That means:

  • Treating money as something I actively create

  • Investing energy where it pays back

  • Building multiple income streams without guilt or apology

Financial independence equals freedom - and I’m choosing freedom.

Other Key Focus Areas

Career & Creativity

This is a year of visibility and growth.

My focus includes:

(Something else I've been working on behind the scenes)

I’m stepping into my career fully - on my terms.

Personal Development

Quiet upgrades, daily.

This year I want to:

Small improvements, compounded over time.

Fun, Adventure & Travel

Joy isn’t optional.

My priorities here include:

  • More solo girl adventures

  • More quality time with friends

  • Saying yes to experiences

  • Finally travelling to Norway, a long-held dream

Life isn’t just about building - it’s about living too.

Relationships

This year, I stop outsourcing my worth.

That means:

  • Not seeking approval from others

  • Clearer boundaries

  • Choosing calm, honesty, and self-respect

Home Environment

My surroundings need to support the life I’m building.

  • Planning and building a kitchen extension

  • Creating a home that reflects who I’m becoming

  • Finishing the summer house so it can actually be enjoyed

Habits

Nothing works without consistency.

My non-negotiables:

Discipline equals freedom.

My Year Broken Down by Quarter

Quarter 1 – Foundations & Launch

This is the activation phase.

  • Launch the podcast

  • Properly develop and expand my store

  • Finish the summer house in time to enjoy it

Focus: momentum, visibility, consistency.

Quarter 2 - Planning & Preparation

This is the strategy phase.

  • Begin planning the kitchen extension

  • Research, budgeting, and decision-making

  • Continue growing income streams

Focus: structure and foresight.

Quarter 3 – Build & Execute

This is the construction phase - literally and metaphorically.

  • Kitchen extension build

  • Staying grounded and healthy through disruption

  • Maintaining routines during change

Focus: follow-through.

Quarter 4 – Peak Performance

This is my busiest period professionally.

  • Performance-heavy work season

  • Strong earning window

  • Capitalising on everything built earlier in the year

Focus: delivery, confidence, reward.

My Decision Filter This Year

Before I say yes to anything, I ask:

Does this support my health, my self-respect, or my income?

If it doesn’t - it waits.

This year isn’t about chasing.

It’s about building.

A stronger body. A calmer mind. A fuller bank account. A life that feels intentional, independent, and genuinely mine.

And I’m giving myself permission to take up space while I do it.
